|2015 Tap New York Brewers Festival|
Join us at NY's best brewery festival, TAP NY. We will be pouring some great brews.
From their website: www.tap-ny.com
Welcome to TAP New York!
Over the years, TAP New York has developed into New York State's largest craft beer festival in the number of brewers attending.
We're not talking about big-corporation beer that comes out of huge vats in a 300,000 sq. ft. production plant. We're talking about hand-made beer.... not beer that is rushed through the brewing process to get it on the shelf as quickly as possible, but beer with enough personality and genuine taste to be called "craft-brewed". This is beer made with pride by people who truely enjoy a quality, flavorful beer.
Many of the invited brewers produce their beer for sale only in their location.... whether it is a restaurant, a brewpub or a small brewery. Others are breweries large enough to distribute on a larger scale, but maintain an excellent quality through their commitment to hands-on, craft-brewing their product. You won't find Anheuser-Busch, Coors, or Miller products here. What you will find are some truly remarkable beers that will tantalize your taste buds... beers that offer a variety of color and flavor that the big brewers don't do. You'll find everything from pale ales and pilseners, to weisbiers, porters, stouts, and scotch ales; from hearty Bohemian and Bavarian-style lagers to glorious Belgian-style ales and much more.
But TAP New York is more than just about the beer. It's about great food -- tasty morsels that carefully complement these rich brews. And plenty of it.
It's about education.... about beer, about home-brewing, about beer/food pairings.... it's about cooking demonstrations from some of the best chefs in the region... and it's about good friends coming together for a weekend of good beer, good food and good times.
TAP New York is also a competition. Beer experts and guest judges will judge in a competition for the "Best Beer" and "Best Brewery" in New York State. Two cups are awarded on Saturday, the Matthew Vassar Cup and the F. X. Matt Memorial Cup.
Welcome to our 17th AnnualTAP New York. When we started in 1997 at the Culinary Institute of America we were not sure where our desire to feature the best beer and the finest food, all in one setting, would lead. Well, with the help, encouragement and support of New York State brewers, our guest breweries, the Chefs who present the beer friendly cooking demonstrations, our partners at Hunter Mountain, and you beer lovers from New York and beyond, we are proudly the longest running beer and food festival in New York State.
We, the Hudson Valley Beer and Food Festival, are honored once again to present the best beers New York has to offer. We certainly appreciate your support and are thrilled to have you with us for another year. Some of you are joining us for the first time and it is important for you to know that we are not just about beer. We are a beer and food festival and each year we show some wonderful beer-friendly food. This year we are featuring an eating experience down Memory Lane as we recreate a sampling of the best from the last 16 years.
TAP New York 2014 is a "one-of-a-kind" event and we like it that way. We were unique when we started and we are proud to be a unique festival today. But we are not the only game in town. TAPSM New York 2014 is just one of many beer festivals that occur throughout the state every year and we encourage you to seek out and support New York brewers everywhere. So, while you are here, visit all of our brewers, enjoy the great food and remember to register for the "All the Beer You Can Carry" drawing. Thank you for joining us for TAP New York 2013.

IT’S OUR 20TH ANNIVERSARY!
We are very excited to announce the return of one of Rochester’s great summer traditions: The Flour City Brewers Fest! The 2015 FCBF will return to Rochester’s Public Market on Friday, August 21 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. With over 100 of the finest craft beers, NYS wine sampling, the city’s favorite food trucks and live music, this is bound to be our biggest craft beer event yet! This year also marks our 20th anniversary!
This year’s festival will again partner with the City of Rochester, the Greater Rochester Visitors Association, and benefit the New York State Brewers Association (www.thinknydrinkny.com) as well as Holiday Outreach (www.holidayoutreach.com).
While the venue has changed over the years, our goal of hosting a world-class showcase for Craft Beer hasn’t. For those of you who joined in the fun last year, I hope you agree that we have found the perfect venue ~ Rochester’s historic Public Market.
Tickets will go on sale in May. Additional information is coming soon.

September 26, 2015
Oktoberfest Vermont will be held at Waterfront Park on the shores of Lake Champlain in the fall of 2015 during the last weekend of September. Our event is designed as a Bavarian-style Oktoberfest with a “Made in Vermont” theme.
Patrons will find many of the traditional aspects of being in Munich, Germany, but our event will do its best to put a Green Mountain spin on things. This weekend-long festival will be a celebration of local food, authentic oompah music, games and contests, local business sponsors, locally made rustic decor, and of course BEER!
Approximately 40 brewers will be in attendance. These include a great mix of famous local breweries, regional breweries, and of course many traditional German Oktoberfest breweries.
You don’t want to miss out on the inaugural Oktoberfest Vermont at one the greatest event venues in the state and at a time where Vermont is one of the prettiest places to be on earth!!!
